Yard Waste Recycling
The Borough has implemented a program to recycle yard (organic) waste. Residents will be able to drop-off their yard waste at the designated collection facility located at the Borough’s Service Building in the Shillington Memorial Park by Pavilion No. 4. Yard waste to be recycled:
- Leaves
- Garden Residue
- Tree Trimmings (less than 3″ in diameter)
- Chipped Shrubbery
- Other Vegetative Materials
Place the yard waste into the containers provided on-site. No plastic bags shall be left at the drop-off site.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Sunday – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Yard waste will only be received during hours of operation.
Twice a year, curbside collection of yard waste will be provided to property owners requesting such service. These collections will be held the first week of April and the last week of September only. Residents must call the Town Hall to schedule for curbside collection.
